The mandate

We were instructed to find someone who could develop a multi-divisional, scalable compliance function for a company that operated across multiple jurisdictions with varying regulatory environments.


This acquisitive business needed to apply best practice across all jurisdictions to provide a globally scalable structure that could be rolled out rapidly and grow with the business.


The candidate needed to be prepared to relocate and manage extensive travel as part of the role.  He or she needed to be able to demonstrate credible compliance experience at an international level with an understanding of business differences in different cultures.  The successful candidate needed the leadership and character to instil the importance of compliance in less mature regulatory environments, bringing the team together to create something impactful without being overwhelming.
