Researcher
London

We’re looking to increase our team of hardworking, proactive researchers who source candidates for our market leading EMEA business. Working in a fast-paced environment alongside some of the best financial services recruiters in the business, the new Interim Research position will focus on supporting our consultants in delivering quality interim candidates across the Compliance, Risk and Legal sectors. No previous recruitment experience required. This position is suitable for recent graduates. All training will be given in-house.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Generating new candidates at all levels through proactive and innovative acquisition methods.
  • Headhunting candidates for contingency and retained roles.
  • Working on market mapping exercises and the research element of search mandates.
  • Consistent delivery against targets.
  • Effectively maintaining records on the in-house recruitment database.
  • Some account management responsibility.
  • Advertising live contract opportunities
  • Database searching for sourcing purposes
  • Database management – adding firms and contacts to the system

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a graduate from 2018 or 2019.
  • Be graduate with 1-3 years’ experience in a different sector.
  • Have effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be highly driven, persistent and tenacious with a desire to succeed.
  • Have excellent initiative and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, drive and commitment.
  • Have an interest in the Financial Services market.

Head of Legal In-House Practice
London

Working as part of our London team in an established and expanding international market, this role will require a combination of account management and business development skills in order to capitalise on existing relationships, develop new clients and make a valuable contribution to the company’s continued growth.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Management and further building of the London Legal In-House Team to ensure they are consistently delivering against targets.
  • Development of new candidate and client relationships within the financial services markets.
  • Client and candidate networking and relationship building to ensure further market penetration.
  • Hold responsibility for leadership of key client accounts, develop complete understanding of clients’ requirements and the background and strengths of the organisation.
  • Generation of candidates at all levels through proactive and innovative acquisition methods including headhunting.
  • Conducting face to face interviews with all candidates at onboarding stage.
  • Managing candidates of all levels through the recruitment lifecycle, which includes responsibility for negotiating between candidate and client for salary, benefits, bonuses, dealing with any counter offer from the candidate’s existing employer, assisting with the resignation of the candidate from their current post etc.
  • Consistent delivery against measured targets.
  • Effective maintenance of records on in-house recruitment database.
  • Independently manage and organize company networking events, take control of budget, style of event, guest list, guest speakers, etc.
  • Make recommendations for improving the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
  • Efficiently run the recruitment desk including managing the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the team. Preparing periodic reports for management to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Communicate regularly with Senior managers, partners, and other designated contacts within the company.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Extensive in-house legal recruitment experience, with a proven track record of success within the field.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a function and work autonomously to drive the development of the Legal Practice.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be degree educated.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, drive and commitment.
